Last 2009 postings

Gosh how time flies by so quickly!! It's almost the end of the year already. I am so behind in my crafts that I really need to get my butt in gear. I have several cards that I need to create and send out soon. I also need to clean my craft room this week. I am planning to get caught up by this weekend so I can start fresh for the New Year. I just can't believe how 2009 just flew by and looking back I am so grateful to have met alot of friends through blogging. Also all the creations that were made by everyone that are so inspiring and just awesome.
Anyway here's a post it set that I made that I am sending to a friend for being so patient since I am behind in sending a rak to her. I hope she likes it.
Here's a Valentine favor that I've put together tonight. I know I'm actually early with this but I saw something and wanted to make it right away before it gets wiped out of my brain. I'm sure all you crafters out there are the same way too. Anyway I hope you all have a Great week and a Happy New Year! Be Safe and Take Care. Thanks for stopping by to check out my blog.

Post its note holders!!

Here I finally finished this order for a friend. I procrastinated on this for weeks and finally made the effort to finish it this weekend. Now I can actually move on and finish my other stuff. It's less than 2 weeks for Christmas....now it's crunch time to finish my Christmas shopping. Thanks for stopping by today checking out my creations.

Post it note holder and Tea boxes

I am in the process of making a few post it note holders and hopefully will have time to finish everything since the weeks are going by so quickly. I went on chicnscratch and saw Angie Juda's tutorial for her post it note holders. I used the same concept but just changed it a little and was getting a little carried away.
Here's a few more tea boxes that I made last night. Still got a few more to go!
Hope you all have a Great Week and Happy Shopping!

Box of Goodies

Finally got my mojo back to create the past couple days. Here is a box that I made to fit assorted TAZO tea's in it or I could also use it to put candies to give out as gifts. I'm hoping to have enough time to make several of these in the next couple weeks. It sure seems like there is not enough time in one day for all the things that I want to do. Isn't the weeks just going by so quickly? I barely started Christmas shopping and really need to start this weekend. I also wanted to change my blog for the Christmas season but I surely don't have time for that either. Anyway hope you have a fun weekend and thanks for stopping by to check out my creations!!

Gift Box

So, I finally tried to make something tonight. Here's a box that I made to put a Christmas gift inside for my friend. It's not really a square box but downloaded it from online sometime ago. I can't really remember what site it was and hopefully I'll find it again because there were several different ones there that I wanted to try out. Have a Great Day!

Got Invited!

I got invited to Denise's house for a get together to meet a few local crafters. How sweet is she to open her lovely home to us all. Got to meet everyone for the first time! Although I did get there a couple hours later since I went to a brunch with my family earlier. Had a great time considering that I wasn't feeling all that great from the morning. I also made a couple make n takes that Brenda and Jenny put together.
I made a bunch of tissue holders and candy favors for everyone at Denise's gathering.
These were the awesome RAKS that I received from everyone. They are all so very creative!

Look at what i got in my grab bag! Brenda is just so creative. She also made the awesome sewing kit in the green box. What a perfect match since I do alot of sewing.

Thanks to you all it was fun!!

HAPPY HUMP DAY!!

Sorry no creations to post and been MIA for awhile!! Since returning from Las Vegas I have not been able to get in the mood of doing any crafts lately. I started cleaning my craft room and that's probably about it. I brought back alot of paper that I picked up from JoAnn's in Vegas and also brought back a scrapbooking sewing machine. I already have a couple sewing machines but I don't want to use it for any paper crafts since the dust may get into the machine then I'll need to send it in for servicing. It's too expensive for the servicing for my sewing machine. So why not get the craft machine for paper right!! That was just justification on my part!! I've also come down with a bad head cold and it makes me feel even lazier to do anything. Anyway hopefully I'll get back in the mood again soon and check out everyone's creations..... HAPPY HUMP DAY!!

Sorry no creations for a week!

Sorry I don't have any creations to share today. I won't have anything to share for probably the next 1-1/2 weeks. Going to Las Vegas! Yay!! I just wanted to share my Halloween costume that I decided to make this year. I made a mermaid costume because the department that I was in the contest with was dressing up as jelly fishes and I didn't want to be a jelly fish this year. Our other co-worker was a funny swimmer to match the under water theme! Our group WON for the group contest! Other groups also dressed up and they were Tourists and Nurses or patients.

Anyway, Have a Great Week and see all your creations when I get back!!

Witchy witch

Happy Humpday! Halloween is almost here! This is probably my last halloween card that I will be creating this week. I've been slacking in creating since Monday's and Tuesday's is my Korean Drama show nights and can't read the subtitles and create at the same time. It's almost ending soon so I'll be free the 2 nights to make things. Anyway here is a card that I created early this morning. I changed her hat into a witches hat. As you can see she's waiting on the bench for all the trick o treaters to come by. Well thanks for stopping by today and Have a Great Humpday!

October OCS and Money card

Halloween is almost here then I'll be off to Las Vegas the first week of November! Can't wait..... Anyway, here I made this card for Tia for Teri's October OCS. I wanted to make a special Halloween card for her since she sent me an awesome card too! I tried to take a close up picture so you can see the little ghost that I added next to the flower. I printed the DP since I couldn't find what I was looking for. The spider web DP is from "Junkitz" by Terasa Collins that I got from the Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Expo this past Saturday. Anyway I had fun making it and hope she'll like this card.

This card that I created can be used as a money card or you can also use it to place a letter or invitation inside the card. I used some scraps that I had to make this card. Thanks for stopping by today and Have a Great Week!

Post it note holder

Today I have a short post... I made a 3" x 3" post it note holder and used my Gorjuss girl image. Used my bind it all and also the Spellbinder Flower Creation Shapeabilities. This is such a cute holder....Great for a gift.

Purses

Today I have a couple purses that I made and the first is a Butterfly purse. The butterflies on the front are cut from 2 different Quickutz dies that I have and I used pearl embellishments for the front. I wasn't sure what ribbons to use for the handle and decided to use the paper print and add the ribbon to it. It turned out really pretty. The inside measurements are 3-1/4" x 1-1/2". The DP is called Poppies from 3bugsinarug.com. In the picture I just noticed that I placed the butterfly off centered so I'll have to fix it before I give it out.

The second purse is rectangle box in a bag. The measurements are 4" x 1-1/2". I also used another smaller QuicKutz butterfly diecut that I also have.

I hope you enjoy seeing my purses and Thanks for stopping to check it out. Have a Great Day!

Halloween Invitation and Beautiful purse

Here is another Halloween creation that my sister made for a Halloween party that we will be having and she will be hosting at her house. The invitation is on the back of the card. I wanted to show you this beautiful card, purse & wallet that she made because it's such an awesome card! She crochets flowers also! Sorry the close up is blurry but I wanted to show the embellishments that she used.

Hey my sister is another Bag lady too!! Anyway, I needed to make a purse for my friends birthday but I didn't have time so said she'll do it for me. It's such an awesome purse that I want it for myself. She did a lot of work on this and even hand top stitched the edge of the whole purse. The flower is held by beads that she sewed to the handle. The silver pieces at the end of the handles are actually nestabilites too with hearts embossed on them. The DP is also from Amy Butler. The wallet is also awesome and it's also a gift card holder.

Hello Kitty Cupcake Giftcard holder

This is for all the Hello Kitty lovers!  I made this simple gift card holder with a Hello Kitty topping.  This card measures about 3-1/4" x 4".  I used the K&Company DP and used velco for the closure.  I also used some stickles on the cupcake top to give it a little bling!   Thank god it's Friday and thanks for stopping by to see my creations!  Have a Great Weekend!

GIFT CARD PURSE

Here is a couple gift card purse holders that I made.  I used a 6x6 Berry Sweet K&Company DP for the purse and my Labels nestabilities for the top.  I punched holes for the ribbon and tied a knot on the inside.  This was a very easy GC holder to make.  Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!

Tissue boxes

This weekend I am having some friends over and my sister and I will be teaching them to make the 2010 calendars that I previously posted. I also made Halloween goodie bags for them and some tissue boxes and other items that will be prizes. It will probably be a long day and hopefully the weather will be good and not too humid.
For the pumpkin baskets I used 10 each 3" ovals that I cut with my Cricut Expression which made it a whole lot easier than doing it one at a time. The basket is about 2-1/2" tall and 3" wide.
I love the tissue box pattern that I got from Cute Stuff. It makes it look so decorative!

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!

Twins birthday cards!

I wanted to post these two cards that are so cute and creative! My sister Irene is so very creative.  She doesn't have a blog to show her creations so I thought I'd post it. I wanted to post this because it's very cute, very inspiring and I love the colors. She has twin boys and created these cards for their birthday. The pop up card has a butterfly on a wire flying around attached to the rocks. So very cute!!

Pumpkin Treat Bag

Today I decided to make another Halloween treat bag. The mood is coming back again to make something. This treat bag is made of 5 each of Petite Ovals Nesties glued on each side of the bag. I also drew and cut out a couple maple leaves and stems and colored them. The bag measures 2-1/2" tall x 3" wide x 1-1/2" d. Since I like Hello Kitty I thought I'd add it to the front of the treat bag to make it look cuter. I also made another with Swiss Pixies Brigitta. Thanks for stopping by today and stay tuned for the winner of the Hello Kitty ornaments!
