RAKS to share

Are you having the same issue as me?  I haven't been able to create anything lately.  I think I've been on facebook too much and it's taking my time away from crafting.  I've also been in a slump and don't have the energy in creating anything lately either.  But I do have a couple of RAK's that I want to share.  I hope to soon get back into creating.

This 1st RAK is from Enjoli (Stamping Under the Sun)!  She is just so awesome in all her creations. I just loved all her notebooks that she was posting on her blog and not knowing that she was sending one to me.  Anyway she sent this to me as a "Thank You" for the crochet flowers that I sent to her.  The stamps are an assortment of "thinking of the Good Times"  Thanks again Enjoli for the happy mail!

This next RAK is from Michele (My Simple Crafts).  She won the set of Hello Kitty ornaments that I was offering.  She also has some awesome creations on her blog.  Go and check it out if you haven't been there yet!  Thanks again Michele.

2010 Calendar

This is a long post because I want to show you this 2010 calendar that I have been working on.  I will be teaching some of my co-workers to make this calendar in October/November so they can use it on their desk at work.  I created the calendar and tried to add pictures for all the holidays.  I wanted to match the pictures according to the holiday in the month but some of them was not that easy so I just used whatever image I had already colored and just mixed and matched the colors for each month.  Anyway I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!!

I won't be creating this weekend since I will be in Maui on Friday until Sunday.  Celebrating our anniversary there this weekend!

Here's a Thank you card to add to my collection.

Haven't had the chance to create much lately but need to create more Thank you cards to add to my bunch of cards.  It's good to have a bunch of different cards just incase you need them.  I always get asked for cards or need one for a reason or another.  Love this image and the colors! I printed the paper because I love the little flowers and the colors.  I ordered the cute little flower buttons online but can't remember what site it was....sorry!  Thanks for stopping by and Happy Hump day!!  

RAKS and OCS to share!!

This first RAK I received is from Jayne who was my partner for the August RAK in PCP.  The challenge was to use black,white and another color.  We also send 5 printed DP, 5 different embellishments & 5 different images.  Jayne does some awesome cards!  Thank you Jayne for all the goodies.   

This next card is from Denise who was my partner for Teri's OCS for August.  What a cute card!!  The bear collector that I am just loves all kinds of bears.  Thanks so mush Denise!

This bag is from winning in the Himawari challenge that Denise and Christina had.  It was my first challenge since starting in blogland.  Love the bag Christina!  Thank you..

Birthday Card

I finally got the chance to create something.  I've been so busy doing other things.  I created this birthday card for a little girl's birthday party this weekend.  I used the same colors as the blanket I sewed for her.  The DP is from SU and I also used some stickles on the card but you can hardly see it in the picture.   What a girly card but it's cute.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Favors and September OCS

I finally got the chance to make a card this weekend.  I've been so busy doing other things that I didn't get to create anything new lately.  As you can see this is a Gorjuss Girl but the angel wings, bow and arrow was added.  I was over at my sisters house and she showed me that she added it so she gave me a few of them for me to color.  I thought it was cute....  Anyway this is for Denise who is my OCS partner this month.  I hope she likes it!  I followed Joy's tutorial. Joy TFS!!

Here are some favor boxes that were filled with "cookies" that I made for some friends from work that came over on Saturday.  The boxes are the pop out boxes and I stamped some flowers all over the outside of the boxes.  We made some Halloween crafts and taught them to make the cup cakes out of wash cloths.  It was a fun day!

RAKS, card and blanket projects

I received this from Gail Woo for Jen's Aloha August RAK.  She is from San Francisco and sent me some awesome goodies too.  They were all in pink and green colors that I like too.  Gail sorry for not posting sooner but was busy with my other projects that needed to get done before I did any paper creations.  

I received this beautiful card from Jodi Inked Inspirations for Teri's August OCS.  She does awesome coloring with the copics.  I just love all her coloring on her card creations!  Jodi Thanks for the cute card you sent me.

Sorry this is not a paper project again and have not been posting any new creations.  I had to finish 2 blanket projects and wanted to get it finished during the 3 day weekend.  These are for 2 different little girls.  Just wanted to show you my projects and the process that it takes to make this.  

I ironed "wonder under" under the yellow fabric, then drew the petroglyphs on the wonder under then cut them out.

Then I ironed them to the pink fabric that is 12" squares.

Here's the different petroglyphs that I ironed on to the squares.  All the petroglyphs are sewn with satin stitches all around the images.

And here's the finished blanket!  I added quilt batting inside the blanket.  This is for my boss's daughter and she's part Hawaiian and I hope they'll love this.  

This is a sleeping bag for my friends daughter who is in pre-school.  The school wants the kids to have sleeping bags for their naps.  Since my friend couldn't find one for her, she asked if I could sew it for her.  I hope she'll like this.

Yay I'm finally done!!

I made this card a while ago but forgot to post it.  I kept it on the side so I could post it later when I didn't have anything to post but actually forgot all about it.  Anyway it's for a little girl who turned 4 years old.  Although her birthday already past I didn't forget about her and is still giving her a card and gift.  I hope she likes it.
