Mini Shopping bag

I just realized that I've done a few bags recently. So I'm into purses...who isn't right! Anyway here's another mini shopping bag that I copied from a Cinnamon Girl shopping bag. It turned out really cute and can be used as a gift bag. I haven't done this for awhile so it took sometime for me to figure this out with a few extra creases in the paper.
I will try to do a tutorial for this bag as soon as I can. I am in the process of making 200 Hello Kitty heads for a 1 year old birthday party.

Gift Card purse holder

Here's a Gift card purse holder that I made and got this tutorial from Martha Stewart's website.  The paper is from Tapestry by C.R. Gibson and I used seed beads for the handle. The stamp "Lot's of Love" is from Hero Arts that I picked up from Cute Stuff.

DON'T FORGET TO ENTER FOR MY CROCHET FLOWERS GIVE AWAY ON AUGUST 1ST.  SEE PREVIOUS POST.

Envelope purse

Here's an envelope purse that I made to fit my flowers in.  It took me a couple times before I got the right size to fit them all in.  The first bag that I made was a little too big and I know it would get smashed when I mail it so I decided to make a different one.

Here is the pink purse that I first made.  I used the crochet flower in the front.  I don't have a template because I trashed it accidently and need to make another one.

Scary ordeal

Had a scare yesterday and went to the Queens ER all day yesterday.  I was having chest pains and wasn't sure if it was my heart, heartburn or problems with my asthma.  Thank goodness it wasn't my heart!!  Problems with my esophagus. I stayed home today to rest and had no energy for any crafts at all.  I did nothing all day and just relaxed all day.

Anyway here is a simple gift card holder that I did and didn't get the chance to post it.  I just tied the ribbon around the gift card then tied the bow to pull out.  Love purple too!

Sympathy card

Kept putting this off but I needed to make a few simple Sympathy cards.  Very recently, a few of our good friends has recently passed away and wanted to make the card instead of buying it.  I just recently got the set also from SU because I knew I would make good use of it someday.  I also used the SU pastels chalk for the flowers but need to practice with it more.  It's good enough for me for now.

Purple Fever

Here's a bunch of cards that I worked on last night for Martie.  Purple is one of my favorite colors too besides pink but thought I could use up the purple that I have and make a set of 5 cards.  I also wanted to create a bag for it.  I didn't have a template for it and probably could have looked for one but decided to make one for it.  I used the Curved Rectangles Nestabilities but it was actually not wide enough but improvised and cut it in half and added the border right down the middle.  Hope she likes this set!

Animal fun

For the month of July for PCP I'm supposed to create a card with animals and send some goodies to Lyn the person I am partnered with.  Well I had this stamp that has 4 different type of animals so I thought this would work ok.  Since she lives on the mainland I thought maybe a box of chocolate macadamia candies would be good too!  I hope she likes them all!

Wedding Card

My sister came over today to show me the card that she was making for my son that is getting married.  I had to post this card to show you because it's such a beautiful handmade card that is detailed and so special.  She used the same ribbon for the tie and also glued the sequins on the ribbon.  The purple card is embossed with the cuttle bug paisley's.  So very creative....

Clothespin Memo holder & HK Favors

My youngest son is getting married on Thursday and we decided to make 30 favors for our family members and friends that will be attending the dinner.  It was a last minute thing and she loves Hello Kitty so he asked me if I could do something with a hello kitty face.  This is what I came up with and he loves it.  I used a pearl white card stock for the head.  The paper is Kaleidascope Violet color paper and I stamped paisleys with eggshell white color on the background.

I made a couple of memo/picture/ receipe holders with the clothespins that are 9" tall.  I painted them white and covered them with DP paper and used Mod Podge to give it a little shine.

Cards I received

I love this card!  I received this Thank you card from Teri for the crochet flowers that I made and sent to her.  She is just so talented!  I love the colors and everything about the card.  Thanks Teri!!

For the month of July I was partnered with Michelle U. for Teri's monthly OCS.  I like how she glittered the images, and placed the ribbon.  The mermaid is so cute too.  So very talented!!  Thanks Michelle you are so creative!

This card is from Linda to Thank me for the crochet flowers that I sent to her.  I just love how she did this card.  I need to try this one day.  I really like the stripes and colors on the card and of course the Gorjuss girl.  I really like her images.  Thanks Linda you are so sweet!

I received this RAK from Ineke in Holland yesterday.  I love the images that she sent to me along with other embellishments.  I really need to learn how to color and shade images in the right places.  She was so sweet to have sent this to me.  Thanks Ineke!!

Cards I sent out

Sorry so late in posting these cards that I sent out recently.  Don't you think that she's so cute with the pony tails?  I really like her and the colors that i used on this image card holder.  I sent this to Joni to "Thank" her for the Aloha RAK that I received from her.

Michelle U. was my partner for Teri's OCS for the month of July and I sent this cute card to her.  I used my crochet flowers that I made on the card.

Hula Anya

Here is a card that I made for our niece that dances hula and tahitian. I had to whip it up quick because she's going to be at the party we are going to tonite and at last minute my husband decides he wanted me to make a card for her. The DP that i used is from K&Company (BerrySWEET). Hopefully the stickles dries up by the time we leave today. I know I keep saying I should make several cards for just incase i need it but every card I end up making I want to either keep it or I end up using for someone.

Candy boxes

I made these candy boxes today for some friends that are coming over to my house this weekend.  I know they will like it since there will be chocolates in them and who doesn't like chocolate right!  I had no idea how I was going to decorate the top of the boxes but came out with these and hope it looks okay.  I used the paper that was in my scraps box because I knew I could put them to good use one day.  Trying to use up the scraps feels like it's never ending because I always end up making more scraps again and again.
The boxes are 3" x 3" square and a little over an inch high.

Designer Bag

I made this designer hand bag last night and thought it turned out pretty good.  The height is 4" tall, 4-1/4" w x  3" d.  It looks so real like a regular bag but it's actually an embossed surface paper collection.  Great bag for gifts!  Cheaper than a store bought gift bag and more personal.

The paper is called Jewel Ruby and I got it from Photo Craft.

Cards I received

This is a neat shadow box card that I received from Kelli.  She also sent some stamped images with it also.  Thanks Kelli this is so nice!
I also received this card and images from Joni as a Thanks for the crochet flowers that I sent to her.  Thanks Joni!

This card was given to me from my sister and thought this was a very neat card because she hand sewed the leaves and also crocheted the flower.

Card for Maia

I made this Himawari card for my grand daughter who turned 2 years old on 7/2/09.  I didn't get to give it to her yet but made this special card for her birthday along with some special Hello Kitty stuff for her.  The cupcake is all glittery.  Her dad (my son) is still in Afghanistan so he missed her 2nd birthday.

Lollipop flower

I know alot of you have already made this flower pot and it's really cute.  I am making this for some friends that are coming over to my house on the weekend.  The butterfly is from a RAK that I  received from Joni H.  Thanks Joni!  I used the Xyron and glittered the white cardstock for the flower.  Here I go again using pink and green.  I just like the colors together.

Finally using my crochet flowers

Since I have the next 4 days off I finally got the chance to create a card using the crochet flowers that I have been making.  I just adore these Gorjuss Girls and they just look perfect with these girlie pink colors with flowers.  One of my favorite colors!  I will be posting more cards with the crochet flowers soon.  Hope to see some of your creations to all who received the flowers from me!!

Flowers for Enjoli

This Hello Kitty pouch is for Enjoli.  She waited so patiently for me to send the crochet flowers to her.  Since I had all those milk carton favors to do (200) I could not do anything else until I completed most of it.  I just need to pick up the candies to fill them and tie the bows until then I was able to finish up the flowers for her.  Boy was that so tiresome!!  My sister helped my alot on Sunday along with the graduate and his mom.  Enjoli it's finally done and coming your way!!
