The bag lady is back!!

Hi everyone.....I'm back again making another clutch purse! This purse measures 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and can be used to hold store coupons or receipts. You could also use it to give away as a gift and insert a gift card and a handmade card inside. I actually may change the button on the front but for now I'm gonna just use what I have until I can find something else. The DP is from K&Company that I picked up when I went to Las Vegas. The brown paper is just regular bazille card stock that I had in my scrap container. Thanks for stopping by to check out my creations and hope you all have a great rest of the week...

Easter Basket

I wanted to make a quick and easy Easter Basket as a favor to put a few goodies. Well I guess I expected it to be little smaller but it turned out to be a larger basket. It was quick and easy, so if you want to know how to make this, let me know I can email you the instructions. The bottom of this basket is a 4" square. I will be making a dozen of these for a Sunday Brunch that I'm going to next weekend. Thank you for stopping by and Have a Great Day!

Flower Power birthday card and RAKS

It was my grand daughters birthday this past weekend and as usual I made it last minute. She loves flowers so I had to make a quick simple one and found this Hero Arts stamp that I bought a month ago and thought of her since she loves flowers. When ever she comes to my house she always has flowers in her hair.
Make and takes made at Denise's house.

This past weekend I was invited to a craft gathering at Denise's house along with other crafters. We made a few make and takes "Thanks" to Denise and Justine. Thanks everyone who was there! It sure was alot of fun to craft and share with everyone there. Denise thanks so much for inviting us and opening your home to share in the fun of crafting with each other.

Below are the RAKs that we all shared with each other.....Thanks everyone!!

Hot chocolate holders

I've been wanting to make a holder for the hot chocolate packets for awhile since I've seen it online somewhere. I don't know where I saw it but decided to just make my own measurements and it could also be used to put images in them too. I didn't do much to it and wanted to just make it simple. I may add some flowers to it....maybe when I get up in the morning I may want to add them....I'll see. Anyway, thanks for stopping by and I will surely stop by some blogs tomorrow to check out all your creations too. I've been working both days and nights the past weeks and never get the chance to surf any blogs lately.

I'm Back!!

I am finally back again...I was soooo behind in finishing my OCS for February but finally did it. It's been a busy February and going to be a really busy March for me. I will try to create something this month when I can. Here is the card that I made for Joy U. for Teri's OCS for February. I actually used 2 stamps from The Greeting Farm: Stella for her body and Ruby for her head. I kinda like it together. I hope she likes it.

Here is the card that I received from Joy. Thank you Joy!!

Sorry for being MIA

Sorry everyone but I'm still here! I have been neglecting my favorite hobby and hopefully will start getting back to it soon! Actually it will be slow for the next couple of months only because I will be working days and nights and will probably be too tired to create something by the time I get home late at night. I will try to sneak a few in from time to time. Some of you know what I have been doing for the past couple of weeks on the computer and yes it's addicting. I will be slowing down as I will be working late so I might as well get in as much as I can before it starts this Saturday. Until then I will try to check everyones creations when I can! Have fun and Thanks for stopping by.

More Boxes........

Still making more boxes!!! I was able to make more boxes last night after finishing up with all the explosion boxes. Whew... that was alot of work but so worth it for my family. Anyway these boxes measure 3 1/2" x 4-3/4". When I get the chance I will try to do a tutorial. I'm not really good at it but I'll try. I love the colors of the DP by American Crafts "I Heart You" that I found from Scrapbook Heaven. I was looking for cute Valentine prints and found alot there. I used Rosalie because she's cute and I love the flowers. Thanks for stopping by and Have a great Day!

Explosion Boxes

I'm finally finished with the explosion boxes that I had planned on making this weekend. I'm sure you all have seen them before. Once a month my sisters and I try to get together for either breakfast, Champaigne brunch, lunch or dinner at a restaurant to catch up on anything new with each other. This month we're planning on having a Valentine's lunch early next weekend since our niece and nephew will be here from Maui and want them to join us. We are also having our other nieces from here joining us too. I wanted to make something special for each one of them. I will be inserting some pictures of them of the past and also including that large hershey kiss too! I hope they'll like the boxes as I tried to make each one different. The boxes is a 4" square. My other sister is also planning on having a couple paper games to play and prizes to be won. How fun!!! She has created some purses with gift cards for the prizes. Hope I win something. I will take pictures of her purses since she does some awesome purses. I have not convinced her to start a blog so I guess I'm going to have to post them when I see it. Anyway, thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Weekend!
Here's a picture of the large kiss that I am including in the box. The kiss fits just right in the box.
This is for the guys that will be there.

Box of Goodies

I've been working on this box for a couple days and wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it. I finally decided to use it for my rak goodies for my friends. I used the Rosalie image and just think she is so cute. I added some bling to the flowers and her heart buttons to spice it up but you can't see it in the picture. The DP is from K&Company (Sparkly Sweet) and these are the papers that I brought home from Las Vegas when I was there recently. I brought back almost 30 lbs. of paper in a box and my husband thought I was crazy. I thought I was crazy too but if I didn't get them then, I would have dropped the monies in the slot machines. At least I got something better!! Got it at a great price from Joann's.
Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!

"2010" Calendar

I finally got the chance this weekend to make something crafty. I've been seeing the easel cards and calendars while visiting other blogs and wanted to try it out. I tried many different sizes and finally got the size I wanted. I also changed it a little and used my calendar that I created so I could have the calendar standing up inside of it laying flat. I'm going to take it to work and try it out to see if I like it. If it works out okay I'll be making a few for some friends. Hopefully I'll be able to start creating more stuff and start posting more.
I also want to change my blog background and hopefully I'll be able to find the time to do it. Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Week.
