I've been wanting to try and make a mummy treat box and I tried it last night too. I used the only brown ink that I had but really wanted something a little darker but used it anyway. I should have taken a picture of it sideways also but didn't think about it until now. It turned out cute anyway! Halloween Treat Box & Hello Kitty Ornament

If you haven't already heard what happened to me this past weekend, I hurt my leg because of a toad that scared me. How can that be since I'm bigger than he is right. Well as I was walking over to the back house just before I reached the stairs this toad jumps out of the dark and I almost stepped on it. It scared that crap outta me and I tried to avoid it and took a double step and tried to get on the first stair but I missed it. I felt my calf snap and then I felt PAIN! I waited until the next morning to go to the doctor because I thought I could handle the pain. WRONG! First thing in the early morning I called my doctor and he said to go to the emergency just incase because he was worried it was bleeding and may have a blood clot. Thank goodness it wasn't bleeding!! They gave me pain meds and crutches to walk. The calf muscle has micro tears and feels like I'm having cramps in the calf all the time. Call me crazy but I may go back to work tomorrow. It's too hot at home. I don't know we'll see how it feels in the morning. My son said mom you should have just squashed it. I was afraid of it splattering! YUK!

Anyway since I am at home from work not being able to walk around much because of my leg, I thought I'd sit here at my craft table and create something. I finally got to make something today! Yay!! Anyway I've been seeing this treat box through other blogs and been wanting to try and make one too. It's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I finally got this stamping bella stamp that took almost 1-1/2 months since I ordered it. I think it got lost in the mail somewhere in Canada. I don't know but I thought that I should use it before Halloween is over.

Here's a Hello Kitty Halloween Ornament that I made today. I made a bunch of Hello Kitty heads earlier and realized that I put the bows all on the wrong side. I didn't want to get rid of it and thought maybe I can still use it. I decided to make a witch hat for it. It turned out cute.

Getting ORGANIZED!!

Okay this is not something creative but for the past months I've been saying I need to get organized and clean my craft room.  Well the first step was to organize my flowers and buttons so I could find what I need and get rid of the boxes it came in.  I finally bought containers for them and seperated everything.  Boy was that alot of work just to get organized.  I then separated all my scrap papers by solid and printed scraps in separate plastic drawers.  I really need to use the scraps more to get rid of them but it keeps getting larger and larger.  Hopefully I'll be done this weekend but who knows what might come up next.  Here is what I did all last night and today.   How do you organize your scrap papers & stamps?  I need to get ideas....My stamps is my next project.

Are you having the same issue as me?  I haven't been able to create anything lately.  I think I've been on facebook too much and it's taking my time away from crafting.  I've also been in a slump and don't have the energy in creating anything lately either.  But I do have a couple of RAK's that I want to share.  I hope to soon get back into creating.

This 1st RAK is from Enjoli (Stamping Under the Sun)!  She is just so awesome in all her creations. I just loved all her notebooks that she was posting on her blog and not knowing that she was sending one to me.  Anyway she sent this to me as a "Thank You" for the crochet flowers that I sent to her.  The stamps are an assortment of "thinking of the Good Times"  Thanks again Enjoli for the happy mail!

2010 Calendar

This is a long post because I want to show you this 2010 calendar that I have been working on.  I will be teaching some of my co-workers to make this calendar in October/November so they can use it on their desk at work.  I created the calendar and tried to add pictures for all the holidays.  I wanted to match the pictures according to the holiday in the month but some of them was not that easy so I just used whatever image I had already colored and just mixed and matched the colors for each month.  Anyway I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!!

I won't be creating this weekend since I will be in Maui on Friday until Sunday.  Celebrating our anniversary there this weekend!

Here's a Thank you card to add to my collection.

Haven't had the chance to create much lately but need to create more Thank you cards to add to my bunch of cards.  It's good to have a bunch of different cards just incase you need them.  I always get asked for cards or need one for a reason or another.  Love this image and the colors! I printed the paper because I love the little flowers and the colors.  I ordered the cute little flower buttons online but can't remember what site it was....sorry!  Thanks for stopping by and Happy Hump day!!

Birthday Card

I finally got the chance to create something.  I've been so busy doing other things.  I created this birthday card for a little girl's birthday party this weekend.  I used the same colors as the blanket I sewed for her.  The DP is from SU and I also used some stickles on the card but you can hardly see it in the picture.   What a girly card but it's cute.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Favors and September OCS

I finally got the chance to make a card this weekend.  I've been so busy doing other things that I didn't get to create anything new lately.  As you can see this is a Gorjuss Girl but the angel wings, bow and arrow was added.  I was over at my sisters house and she showed me that she added it so she gave me a few of them for me to color.  I thought it was cute....  Anyway this is for Denise who is my OCS partner this month.  I hope she likes it!  I followed Joy's tutorial. Joy TFS!!

Here are some favor boxes that were filled with "cookies" that I made for some friends from work that came over on Saturday.  The boxes are the pop out boxes and I stamped some flowers all over the outside of the boxes.  We made some Halloween crafts and taught them to make the cup cakes out of wash cloths.  It was a fun day!
